Microsoft has released the KB4055254 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1703 on 22 November 2017. You can get the offline installer links for this update in this article.
This is the second update in the month of November. This update is for version 1703 build 15063.729. The earlier update was KB4048954 which was for build 15063.628 and 15063.726. This update fixes some issues with printers for both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. Overall, improvements and security vulnerabilities have been fixed to make the Windows performance stable.
The Cumulative update KB4055254 has been released to fix the issues and minor bugs. The user will not see any new Windows features in this update as this is the security update.
One important issue which has been fixed in this update is the issue with Epson SIDM (Dot Matrix) and TM (POS) printers. The users who installed KB4048954 and were using Epson printers were unable to print.
After installing the KB4055254 update, you won’t face any issue with Epson DISM and TM printers. They will start printing normally again.
One known issue which is still to be addressed is for the users of Internet Explorer 11 who are using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). They may not be able to scroll through a drop-down menu using the scrollbar. But you may scroll the drop-down menu using your mouse scroll wheel which will work normally.
